About Sea Girt NJ 08750
Sea Girt is a borough in Monmouth County, NJ. As of the 2020 census, it has a population of approximately 1,866. It was formed as a borough in 1917 by an act of the New Jersey Legialature. Sea Girt is named for the estate of Comm. Robert F. Stockton who had purchased a property in the area in 1853. The borough is bordered by the Monmouth County municipalities of Manasquan, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights and Wall Township.
