About Oceanport NJ 07712
Oceanport is a borough in Monmouth County, NJ. As of the 2023 census, it has a population of approximately 6,166. It was formed as a borough in 1920 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. The town’s name presumably is due to its location on the Atlantic Ocean. Oceanport is bordered by the Monmouth County municipalities of Little Silver, Shrewsbury, Long Branch, Eatontown and West Long Branch. It shares water borders to the northeast with Monmouth Beach and Rumson.
