About Union Beach NJ 07735
Union Beach is a borough in Monmouth County, NJ. As of the 2023 census, it has a population of approximately 5,671. It was formed as a borough in 1925 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. The name Union Beach comes through the 100 acre farm owned by the Poole family since the days of the American Revolution. The Poole farm became a subdivision of the Central Railroad of New Jersey in 1908 while an area that had been called East Point Beach Estates was renamed Union Beach in 1920. Union Beach is bordered by the Monmouth County municipalities of Hazlet, Keansburg and Keyport.
