About Prospect Park
Prospect Park is a borough in Passaic County, NJ. As of the 2024 census it has a population of 6,382. It was formed in 1901 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. The borough was named for Prospect Park in Brooklyn NY. Prospect Park is bordered by the Passaic County municipalities of Haledon, Hawthorne, North Haledon and Paterson.
