About Interlaken NJ 07712
Interlaken is a borough in Monmouth County, NJ. As of the 2023 census it has a population of approximately 817. It was incorporated as a borough in 1922 by voter approval. The name Interlaken is taken from that of a peninsula in Switzerland situated between two lakes, which is similar to the area being between two sections of Deal Lake. Interlaken is bordered by the Monmouth County municipalities of Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Loch Arbour and Ocean.
